Building events and communities from scratch.
As a freshman I learned that Mercer's earlier TEDx had faded, so I set out to bring it back. I learned the process from friends who ran TEDx at Duke, wrote the proposal to TED, and secured the official TEDx license in February 2025.
I lead the committee that designs the merchandise and buttons sold for awareness and fundraising. Georgia Tech Miracles raised over $105,000 for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in the past year.
I serve on the 2026-27 executive board and run the chapter's outreach: I built its Instagram content strategy and posting calendar, and I promote service-learning trips, local volunteering, and fundraising. In May 2026 I went on the chapter's Service Learning Trip to Cusco, Peru.
My chapter's network helped promote TEDxMercer and spread the word across campus.
I was the chapter's photographer and videographer in Macon.
Service in Macon and back home in Sandy Springs.
I cook as a volunteer, about 4.5 hours a month.
I volunteered and fundraised for 2.5 hours a day over two weeks.
